Give your team somewhere to work through what's on their minds
Noisefilter is an AI-guided CBT tool for employee mental health. Not a meditation app. Not a mood tracker. Structured thought processing — the same technique therapists assign as homework — available to every employee, any time, privately.
The real problem
Why most employee wellness apps don't actually get used
The average corporate wellness app has a 15–20% active user rate.
Most companies buy a meditation or mindfulness app, send one email to the team, and watch adoption flatline within 30 days. Not because the apps are bad. Because meditation requires a calm mind to use. And the employees who need mental health support most are rarely the ones who can sit quietly with their thoughts for 10 minutes.
The real problem employees are dealing with
Not a lack of mindfulness. Specific thoughts that won't leave.
- The conversation they keep replaying.
- The decision they can't stop second-guessing.
- The performance review coming up that they've been catastrophising about for three weeks.
These aren't solved by a breathing exercise. They're solved by actually examining the thought. That's what Noisefilter does.
If your team is carrying thoughts they can't resolve, they're not going to resolve them by breathing more slowly.
How it works
What Noisefilter does differently
Noisefilter is built on cognitive behavioural therapy — the most researched psychological treatment in existence.
When an employee opens the app with a thought that's bothering them, they don't get a prompt to breathe. They write the thought. The app asks structured questions that examine whether the thought is actually true. Research shows a 20–40% reduction in emotional intensity per completed session (Haug et al., 2012).
Unpack It — CBT thought record
For thoughts about specific work situations. Presentations, relationships with managers, performance anxiety, conflict. The gold standard of cognitive behavioural therapy.
Question It — Socratic questioning
"I'm not good enough for this role." "People think I don't know what I'm doing." For beliefs that are blocking performance rather than specific thoughts about events.
Challenge It — Byron Katie's The Work
For resentment and replaying. A difficult conversation with a colleague. A decision made above you. A situation you can't change but can't stop thinking about.
Break It Down
For overwhelm. Too much to do, too little clarity, paralysis. Separates what's fact from what's assumption so employees can act instead of spiral.
Just Write
For the day when someone just needs to empty their head. No structure. No prompts. Get it out — and move on.
Privacy architecture
What HR gets — and what we will never share
What HR gets
- ✓Admin dashboard — invite employees via email or organisation code
- ✓Team-level engagement data — active users, sessions completed, engagement rate
- ✓Monthly wellbeing report — aggregate themes (stress, decisions, relationships) with no names attached
- ✓Evidence the benefit is being used — the ROI your leadership wants to see
What we will never share with HR
- ✕Individual session content — full stop
- ✕What specific thoughts an employee is working through
- ✕Which cognitive distortions were detected in their sessions
- ✕Any personally identifiable mental health data
The architecture
This isn't just a policy. It's the architecture.
Individual session data is not aggregated into any report. If employees don't trust that what they write is private, they won't use the tool. Adoption requires trust. We protect that.
Zero friction onboarding
How employees join
No IT procurement. No enterprise software installation. No data migration. Three ways to get started.
Organisation code
HR creates an organisation in the dashboard and receives a 6-digit code. Employees download Noisefilter from Google Play, create a free account, and enter the code. Pro features activate automatically. Takes 2 minutes.
Company email domain
Employees with a verified company email address (@yourcompany.com) get Pro access automatically on signup. No code needed.
CSV invite
HR uploads a CSV of employee emails. Each employee receives an invite link. Click → download → Pro access activated.
All three routes give employees immediate Pro access — unlimited sessions, full history, pattern detection — without paying personally. HR controls access from the dashboard.
Honest comparison
Noisefilter vs other corporate wellness apps
These tools serve different needs. Noisefilter isn't trying to replace an EAP. It's trying to reach the employees the EAP never does.
Headspace for Work / Calm for Business
Strong brand recognition. Works well for stress management as a complement to other tools.
Lower CBT depth — meditation doesn't examine specific thoughts.
Pricing
$70–$100/employee/year
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
Most comprehensive. Human counsellors for employees who need them.
Usage rate: typically 3–6% of employees. Stigma barrier. Async responses can take 24–48 hours.
Pricing
$15–$35/employee/year (for 3-6% who use it)
Noisefilter for Teams
Structured thought processing — not meditation, not a chatbot. Designed for the 94% who won't call an EAP but will work through a specific thought privately at 11pm.
Currently Android only. Not a replacement for EAPs — a complement.

Clinical credibility
Clinically grounded from day one
Most wellness apps are built by engineers.
Noisefilter is co-founded by a mental health professional with graduate training in social work and clinical practice. Every CBT framework in the app — the thought records, the Socratic questioning, The Work — is reviewed and validated by that clinical co-founder before it goes into the product.
When HR or procurement asks “who validated the clinical content?” — the answer is a practising mental health professional who is also the person building the product. Not an advisory board footnote consulted once a year. Not a clinician who reviewed a slide deck.
The clinical direction is embedded in how the product is designed, not bolted on as a credibility signal. That matters when you're offering this to your employees.
